There are a number of universities and institutions across the country offering Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program. Candidates, willing to make their career in teaching domain, they may apply for B.Ed entrance exams. The course has been gained massive popularity across the country due to its high demand and exceptional career opportunities. According to the new rule, the duration of the course is 2 years.
If you are willing to acquire B.Ed degree from an open university then the minimum and maximum course duration will be two and five years respectively. A Small Introduction of B.Ed Program
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a well-known skill training based course proposed to provide all required training to the aspirants so that they would become comfortable with classroom teaching. Candidates, who have completed Graduation degree in Arts, will be taught subjects such as Geography, History, English etc whereas, Science graduates are taught subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology etc.
Eligibility Criteria
Following eligibility criteria need to be fulfilled by candidates aspiring to join B.Ed program:
- Candidates should be graduated in any discipline.
- They should have a recognized B.A, B.Sc and B.com degree with minimum 55% marks.
- Candidates, who have completed postgraduate degree, the 55% marks in aggregate is the minimum criterion.
B.Ed Admission Procedure
Candidates have to appear in the B.Ed entrance test conducted by various states and institutions. The exam is usually conducted in the month of May or June and candidates can find its form in online mode only. We’ll provide here direct link of accessing B.Ed application form 2018 soon after the release of similar official notification. Looking into the syllabus of B.Ed entrance test contains following subjects:
- General Awareness
- Teaching Aptitude
- General English
- Logical and Analytical Reasoning
Selection Procedure
The selection procedure for providing admission into B.Ed program is as follows:
- Candidates have to apply for the B.Ed entrance test 2018 first.
- Thereafter, they will have to appear in the entrance test.
- Based on their merit in the entrance, they further have to appear in the counseling procedure.
Process of Getting B.Ed Degree in Distance Mode
If you are willing to get B.Ed degree in distance mode then the course duration will vary from two years to five years. Candidates should have Graduation degree with 50% marks or postgraduate degree with 55% marks. Selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the entrance test which is usually conducted in the month of September every year.
